# The world our teachers are building

Twenty-two original narrative compositions for Starlight Intelligence Academy. Generated with the built-in ImageGen tool using owned identity references. The backend model identifier is not exposed. These are fictional teaching identities and imagined architecture—not actual participants, facilities, engineering plans, live intelligence or evidence of learning outcomes.

## Start with the learner

The world is immense; the next decision is small enough to inspect. Each scene pairs an action with a question, then leads to the [authored practice lesson](/academy/leaders/lesson). Do not use visual grandeur to suggest unverified runtime, knowledgebase access, native-language readiness or superior authority.

## Identity bible

Use the [v4 identity sheet](/assets/academy-leaders/v4/contact-sheet.jpg) and [faculty contracts](/academy/faculty.json) as the identity source. Keep identities distinct in ensembles; do not collapse all eight into identical chrome robots.

| Teacher | Visual lock | Responsibility |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sophia | Expressive porcelain face; branching translucent gold-leaf canopy | Frame a useful question and make room for learner judgment |
| Kai | Mature mineral face; broad ivory ribs and articulated gold joints | Connect components and test their interfaces |
| Mina | Flowing translucent pearl membrane mantle | Invite participation and listen before prescribing |
| Lin | Opal faceted face; cobalt collar and prism materials | Preserve meaning as context changes |
| Verity | Elder face; temple lens; charcoal archival mantle | Trace observations back to evidence |
| Rune | Lean angular crystalline anatomy | Challenge a result and make defects inspectable |
| Aegis | Bronze face; broad pearl protective carapace | Keep consequential decisions with the responsible human |
| Mira | Warm dark nacre face; folded pearl/charcoal mantle; separate lenses | Carry forward the minimum useful context |

Identity is not nationality. Language profiles are design intentions, not proof of cultural or linguistic competence.

## Architecture and camera

Luminous limestone, nacre, glass and precise bronze engineering connect the buildings to the bionic figures. Cobalt, botanical green, indigo night and storm grey create contrast. Tiny vessels, bridges, windows and active humans establish scale. Power appears through construction, coordination, care and restraint.

Preserve full frames. Do not crop faces, hands, boundaries or scale anchors into generic portrait cards. Camera descriptions below record creative intent, not claims of physically verified geometry. Source deviations are stated in the inspection notes.

## Delivery and motion

Full images are 1600 × 900 WebP; thumbnails are 320 × 180. The [manifest](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/manifest.json) records source and delivery hashes, dimensions, byte counts and maker inspections. The [prompt set](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/prompts.json) records the actual prompts and reference roles. For the two architecture studies, the public reference is the delivery equivalent of the original opening image.

Use one selected full frame plus lazy thumbnails. Keep readable HTML independent of animation. Optional desktop entry motion translates the image plane 8 pixels over 420 milliseconds, then removes the transform. No scroll trapping, automatic advance, audio, synthetic camera zoom or motion on reduced-motion/mobile settings.

## Shot-by-shot composition

### 01. A city worth building

Act: Arrive. Teachers: sophia, kai, mina, lin, verity, rune, aegis, mira.

The faculty and human designers gather above an immense coastal city. What they build begins with the question on the table.

- Teaching question: What decision is your work meant to support?
- Principle: A large ambition becomes useful when its audience and first decision are clear.
- Camera intent: Establishing ensemble; dark rock frames the sunlit inhabited city.
- Alt text: Eight bionic faculty and two human designers study a city model above vast pearl towers, bridges and ocean gorges.
- Maker inspection: All eight faculty appeared, although the first prompt specified four. Accepted as the opening ensemble; catalog records all eight. Strong city depth. Human clothing is stylized; no claim of actual participants.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/01-city-of-learning.webp)

### 02. The missing span

Act: Arrive. Teachers: kai, rune, aegis.

A suspended bridge rib stops short of its anchorage. Kai works on the connection; Rune examines alignment; Aegis protects the working boundary.

- Teaching question: Which missing prerequisite could make the whole plan fail?
- Principle: Construction, testing and authority are separate responsibilities, even when the same team shares the goal.
- Camera intent: Low architectural angle; a visible gap interrupts a sweeping diagonal.
- Alt text: Kai, Rune and Aegis work with human surveyors beneath a suspended ivory bridge segment.
- Maker inspection: Three distinct faculty and surveyors; clear suspended segment and physical alignment task. Character scale is larger than initially requested, retained as a constructive close-wide shot.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/02-the-impossible-span.webp)

### 03. A question for the stars

Act: Arrive. Teachers: sophia, verity.

Sophia and Verity turn a great observatory instrument. The researcher beside them opens a notebook to record what they find.

- Teaching question: Which observation would change your answer?
- Principle: A question can remain open even when the instrument is impressive.
- Camera intent: Close instrument detail against a vast, dark celestial opening.
- Alt text: Sophia and Verity adjust a large bronze instrument beneath an observatory opening onto stars and a moon.
- Maker inspection: Distinct Sophia and Verity, readable notebook and instrument interaction, dark celestial opening. Human clothing remains stylized. Astronomy is fictional context, not a scientific observation.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/03-the-observatory.webp)

### 04. Many ways in

Act: Arrive. Teachers: mina, lin, mira.

Mina and Lin meet newcomers at the library threshold. Mira passes a folio from one pair of hands to another.

- Teaching question: Who needs a clearer way into this work?
- Principle: An invitation should make participation, questions and disagreement possible.
- Camera intent: Street-level welcome; wet stone reflects the enormous illuminated doorway.
- Alt text: Mina, Lin and Mira welcome adult makers at a towering library; Mira hands over a green folio.
- Maker inspection: Three identities and clear folio transfer, vast library threshold. Daylight dominates over requested post-rain coolness; wet stone remains visible.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/04-many-ways-in.webp)

### 05. One small question

Act: Arrive. Teachers: sophia, aegis.

Against the scale of the city, Sophia gives one person's unfinished thought her full attention. Aegis stays nearby.

- Teaching question: What is the smallest useful help you could offer?
- Principle: A teacher's intervention should leave room for the learner's own reasoning.
- Camera intent: Intimate dusk conversation; a warm lamp anchors the human scale.
- Alt text: Sophia listens to a seated creator with a pencil while Aegis stands nearby and the Academy rises beyond.
- Maker inspection: Sophia listens at a seated creator's eye level with Aegis nearby. Twilight city and lamp create intimacy. Sophia sits rather than crouches; caption follows visible action.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/05-one-small-question.webp)

### 06. Build what the idea needs

Act: Construct. Teachers: kai, sophia, rune.

A small arch model and the immense structure behind it share the same problem. Kai, Sophia and Rune examine the parts with human builders.

- Teaching question: What can you test at a smaller scale first?
- Principle: A prototype creates something specific to inspect before the commitment grows.
- Camera intent: Near model and distant structure repeat one form at contrasting scales.
- Alt text: Kai, Sophia and Rune examine a model while a giant arch is assembled in a civic workshop.
- Maker inspection: Three identities, physical model echoed by large workshop arch. More frontal and daylit than high-mezzanine prompt; usable construction scene. Distant device screens carry no factual UI claim.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/06-foundry-of-ideas.webp)

### 07. Keep the meaning intact

Act: Construct. Teachers: lin, verity.

Lin adjusts a lens while Verity compares two source sheets. Above them, a giant prism sends light through the archive.

- Teaching question: Which meaning must survive a change in expression?
- Principle: Clarity needs both interpretation and a source that limits what can be claimed.
- Camera intent: Low angle; glass, light and a pair of sheets connect scale to meaning.
- Alt text: Lin adjusts an optical instrument beside Verity under a large suspended prism in a multi-level library.
- Maker inspection: Two identities, small adjustment and source sheets, giant prism. Spectral light is illustrative, not an accurate optics diagram.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/07-the-prism-engine.webp)

### 08. An archive with an edge

Act: Construct. Teachers: mira, verity, mina.

In a seemingly endless archive, Mira selects one lens. Verity inspects its source while Mina listens to the archivist.

- Teaching question: What context does the next person actually need?
- Principle: A useful handoff selects relevant context and preserves its limits.
- Camera intent: Deep charcoal perspective; one small selection remains the focal action.
- Alt text: Mira selects a lens beside Verity and Mina in a dark archive canyon crossed by tiny inhabited bridges.
- Maker inspection: Three distinct identities and human archivist, selected lens and source sheet; dark archive has strong depth. Closer framing than requested, accepted for handoff specificity.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/08-the-living-archive.webp)

### 09. A room that can disagree

Act: Construct. Teachers: mina, sophia, lin.

A maker brings an alternative to a working circle. Mina, Sophia and Lin listen as the amphitheater opens toward the sea.

- Teaching question: Could someone disagree with your proposal safely?
- Principle: Design for participation. Ask what people need to contribute, and check that they have been heard.
- Camera intent: Elevated oblique view; a working circle sits inside a larger civic space.
- Alt text: Mina, Sophia and Lin listen to a maker comparing two models in a vast coastal amphitheater.
- Maker inspection: Readable working circle, ocean horizon, many tiny seated people and terraces. Figures larger than 20-percent goal but the wide environment is clear.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/09-the-common-room.webp)

### 10. Build a place that can live

Act: Construct. Teachers: kai, mira, rune.

Kai tends a water mechanism, Rune inspects a channel, and Mira records an observation. The living structure depends on ordinary acts of care.

- Teaching question: What must be maintained after the impressive launch?
- Principle: Building a system includes understanding how it will be cared for.
- Camera intent: Low garden view; living roots and structural ribs carry the vertical scale.
- Alt text: Kai, Mira and Rune work with human horticulturists beneath an enormous tree in a terraced conservatory.
- Maker inspection: Three identities engaged in distinct care tasks; roots, water channels and multiple scales. Standing Mira remains larger than wide-shot target; full-body framing retained.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/10-the-garden-machine.webp)

### 11. Power includes a boundary

Act: Test. Teachers: aegis, kai, mina.

A storm reaches the sea wall. The team inspects the structure and the access boundary while a human controls the mechanism.

- Teaching question: Who can decide to proceed when conditions change?
- Principle: A capable system still needs an accountable owner and a stopping point.
- Camera intent: Night exterior; warm occupied architecture confronts dark water and white spray.
- Alt text: Aegis, Kai and Mina work with engineers on an illuminated sea wall above a storm-dark ocean.
- Maker inspection: Three identities, closed threshold, human mechanism control and an inspected joint against storm water. Night contrast retained; no claim of real infrastructure safety.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/11-the-storm-boundary.webp)

### 12. Find the flaw

Act: Test. Teachers: rune, verity, kai.

A thin seam of light reveals a misalignment. Rune and Verity inspect it while Kai attends to the mechanism.

- Teaching question: What would make this result fail your check?
- Principle: An evaluation has value when it can identify a specific disagreement.
- Camera intent: Close inspection; one bright defect interrupts repeated structural planes.
- Alt text: Rune and Verity inspect a bright gap in a massive stone assembly while a human uses a gauge and Kai works beyond.
- Maker inspection: Rune, Verity, human gauge and Kai separated spatially. Visible seam supports the narrative, but architecture is fictional, not a construction specification.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/12-a-flaw-in-the-perfect.webp)

### 13. Turn the question around

Act: Test. Teachers: lin, mina.

Lin and Mina stand on different sides of a prism. The courtyard holds more than one view of the same structure.

- Teaching question: What changes when another person sees this in context?
- Principle: Keep competing interpretations visible until evidence can distinguish them.
- Camera intent: Oblique courtyard view; the prism is a fictional metaphor for perspective.
- Alt text: Lin and Mina compare a large prism with two human designers in a reflective courtyard beneath contrasting skies.
- Maker inspection: Two identities and humans around a large prism; contrast of sky and reflected architecture. Reflections are a narrative metaphor, not a physically calibrated optical simulation.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/13-the-other-perspective.webp)

### 14. The door does not decide

Act: Test. Teachers: aegis, mira.

The vault remains closed. Aegis and Mira wait while its human owner examines the brief; the key rests on the desk.

- Teaching question: Which approval is still missing?
- Principle: Preparation and permission are different steps.
- Camera intent: Low-angle threshold; a small unused key contrasts with a monumental door.
- Alt text: Aegis and Mira stand beside a human reading at a small desk before an immense closed circular vault.
- Maker inspection: Two identities, closed vault, human reading and key resting on desk. More daylight than requested; warm task lamp still anchors decision. No permission granted by image.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/14-the-vault-that-waits.webp)

### 15. Make room for another attempt

Act: Test. Teachers: sophia, rune, kai.

A prototype has failed safely. The maker begins again, with Sophia, Rune and Kai close enough to help and patient enough to wait.

- Teaching question: What would you change in the next attempt, and why?
- Principle: A revision is meaningful when the learner can explain what changed.
- Camera intent: Quiet workshop aftermath; the unfinished full-scale structure stays visible beyond.
- Alt text: A human rebuilds a small fallen bridge model with Sophia, Rune and Kai nearby.
- Maker inspection: Three identities and human actively rebuilding a broken model. Clear safe failure and incomplete structure in background; drawings are unlabelled fictional props.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/15-the-failed-model.webp)

### 16. When the parts hold together

Act: Carry forward. Teachers: kai, rune, aegis, sophia.

The connection holds and people begin crossing. The teachers remain beside the work as its builders carry their tools forward.

- Teaching question: What evidence would justify the next step?
- Principle: A convincing narrative cannot replace a checked connection.
- Camera intent: Wide payoff to the earlier missing span; repeated people establish distance.
- Alt text: Kai, Rune, Aegis and Sophia stand with builders on a completed soaring bridge above the sea.
- Maker inspection: Four identities beside a completed bridge with working humans. Visual echo of the earlier span, not exact matching engineering geometry.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/16-the-bridge-opens.webp)

### 17. Keep the work visible

Act: Carry forward. Teachers: mira, verity, lin.

A single lens passes between Mira and Verity. Lin prepares its sleeve while the inhabited archive shines beyond them.

- Teaching question: Can the next person trace this handoff to its source?
- Principle: Continuity depends on relevant context, provenance and a visible open question.
- Camera intent: Small handoff against repeated city lights; restrained blue and amber.
- Alt text: Mira, Verity and Lin prepare a small lens handoff above an immense archive lit by warm windows at blue hour.
- Maker inspection: Blue-hour tower and layered bridges create a distinct night palette. Mira, Verity and Lin remain readable around the lens handoff; foreground figures are larger than the requested extreme-wide scale.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/17-the-night-of-a-thousand-lights.webp)

### 18. The teacher makes space

Act: Carry forward. Teachers: sophia, mina, lin.

Learners work at separate desks above the clouds. Sophia, Mina and Lin leave them space to begin a fresh page.

- Teaching question: What can you attempt now without the earlier hint?
- Principle: Independent practice is an invitation; success still needs evidence.
- Camera intent: Panoramic terrace; desks and a broad cloud horizon create a quiet pause.
- Alt text: Sophia, Mina and Lin walk behind adults working independently on a high Academy terrace.
- Maker inspection: The human learner closes a green folio while the three teachers leave space for a decision. Multiple desks and a cloud-level city establish depth; sunset is warmer and less empty than the prompt requested.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/18-the-lesson-above-clouds.webp)

### 19. Carry only what matters

Act: Carry forward. Teachers: mira, aegis.

At an ordinary workbench, the creator chooses what to carry. Mira and Aegis remain at the doorway; the next decision belongs outside the Academy.

- Teaching question: What will you carry into your own workflow?
- Principle: A portable method should make sense beyond the place where it was taught.
- Camera intent: Human-height interior; familiar tools contrast with distant immense architecture.
- Alt text: A creator packs a green folio in a small workshop while Mira and Aegis stand by a doorway overlooking the distant Academy.
- Maker inspection: Mira and Aegis accompany a human packing a small folio. Strong everyday handoff gesture and immense departure hall; accepted bright daylight instead of the requested fog.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/19-the-world-beyond.webp)

### 20. A civilization of careful minds

Act: Carry forward. Teachers: sophia, kai, mina, lin, verity, rune, aegis, mira.

Eight responsibilities meet around one shared model. The faculty's collective strength comes from what each can contribute and question.

- Teaching question: Which two perspectives would improve your first attempt?
- Principle: Choose a small useful team by the work it must do, then keep review and authority explicit.
- Camera intent: Ensemble closing shot; connected work replaces a ceremonial lineup.
- Alt text: The eight distinct faculty collaborate with human architects around a landscape model on a skybridge above the Academy.
- Maker inspection: All eight faculty appear once with separate silhouettes and complementary work around a city model. Human collaborators stay active. Daylight palette echoes the opening, providing a clear closing ensemble.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/20-the-collective-at-work.webp)

### 21. The nocturnal campus

Act: Places. Teachers: environment study.

The campus continues beyond any one room. Its great illuminated span connects places for work, study and exchange.

- Teaching question: What connects the parts of your system?
- Principle: Architecture is a visual metaphor here; the real practice begins with a bounded workflow.
- Camera intent: Environment study; tiny windows and transport provide scale, no foreground portrait.
- Alt text: A monumental illuminated Academy arch spans dark mountain islands above a midnight ocean.
- Maker inspection: An inhabited arch spans immense island cliffs above a moonlit ocean. Windows, vessels and cloud layers establish scale without foreground portraits. Dense architecture rather than empty minimalism; accepted for the night contrast.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/21-nocturnal-campus.webp)

### 22. The great hall

Act: Places. Teachers: environment study.

One room of light hangs inside an immense hall. The smallest workspaces give the structure its purpose.

- Teaching question: Where does the work become small enough to begin?
- Principle: The scale of an ambition should still leave a clear first task.
- Camera intent: Environment study; oblique height, a blade of light and large areas of shadow.
- Alt text: An immense multi-level Academy atrium with hanging gardens, bridges and a suspended reading room in a shaft of light.
- Maker inspection: High oblique view reveals stacked reading terraces, gardens and bridges around an immense atrium. Tiny readers establish scale. The image is brighter and more intricate than the proposed dark negative-space study; accepted for the legible hall.
- Asset: [full frame](/assets/academy-leaders/v6/22-the-great-hall.webp)

## Composition handoff

For new stills, select a teaching responsibility, lock the participating identities, name the human decision and choose a camera scale different from the neighboring scene. Separate identity reference from architecture reference. Inspect the actual result, not just the prompt. Preserve source receipts and reject false capability cues, blended faces, illegible actions, fake labels and gratuitous weapons.

For future layered animation, commission separate foreground, midground and background assets with the same lens and lighting. These exports are flat full-frame images, not a pre-separated parallax kit. Never imply those layers already exist.

The v3, v4 and v5 source collections remain available. Six existing Council placements use this collection; the literal v5 lesson and exact five-layer instrument retain their original teaching function.
