STARLIGHT ACADEMY / MULTIMODAL PRODUCT DESIGN
The controlled edit
is the real craft.
A practical studio for generative visuals: design an anchor, preserve your initial judgment, inspect what an edit actually changed, and leave with a portable review record.
MFG-04 · 75 minutes planned · Prerequisites: MFG-02, MFG-03 · Draft teaching edition 1.1.0
Begin field practice ↗Design the constraint.
A generation prompt is a hypothesis. Your design contract is the test: purpose, protected properties, visual identity and a real placement.
Three placement-ready visual anchors and one controlled image edit with observed before/after evidence.
01 — Preserve your unaided first attempt
Before inspecting the worked example, write your hero prompt, two predicted failure modes and the features the edit must preserve. This stage can be locked only once.
02 — Fix the design contract
Portable by design.
Open this lab without an account and download your work. The Academy does not upload it, call an image model, verify visual outcomes, or issue a credential. The editable curriculum lives in Git; this preview resolves lesson MFG-04 from that exact course object at build time.
