Installation destination

Native plugin and Starlight marketplace

Install in Codex

Registers the local marketplace and installs the plugin. Open a new task after installation.

  1. Download and extract the complete learning pack.
  2. Open a terminal in its starlight-academy folder.
  3. Run this command with Node.js 22 or later and Codex already installed.
node install.mjs codex

Append --dry-run to inspect the native commands first. The host may ask you to review trust or permissions.

What has been checked?

Manifest validated; root-resolved MCP handshake checked. Installation and full host startup are separate checks. The release manifest records the package bytes; it does not certify the host.

Remove the plugin

You can also remove it in the host's plugin manager. Your saved practice files are separate.

Give it one useful first task

Use the practice-agent-evaluation skill. Show me the confident-completion case without its reference answers. Preserve my first judgment, then compare my choices, explain the evidence and ask me to design a timeout test. Keep the result labelled as self-study.

Open a fresh agent session after installing. The MCP should expose four tools, including get_evaluation_cases and check_evaluation_answers. The checker compares public reference choices; it does not grade written reasoning or a live agent run.

Inspect the release

The archive contains readable source, native manifests, the installer and per-file checksums. SHA-256 checks consistency; it is not a publisher signature. Extract the complete archive and keep the directory for local marketplace updates.

One pack, native installation paths

The launcher handles the steps for your selected tool. A website download cannot silently install into every desktop agent; each host controls installation and trust. Codex and Claude receive synchronized marketplace entries. Hermes receives a portable extension. Antigravity receives its native manifest and an explicit local server path.

Public directory listings, hosted evaluations and credentials are separate from this package. No paid model plan, new account, remote MCP service or agent authority is included.
